Oriola-KD was nominated Logistics Company of the year for 2010 |
Logistics Company of the year reward was given to Oriola-KD this year. Oriola-KD’s comprehensive adaptation of supply chain solutions and use of available technology were the arguments for the nomination. The nomination was published today on 4th February in Logistics seminar in Finland.

Oriola-KD to pharmacy market in Sweden |
Kronans Droghandel Retail AB, a company jointly owned by Oriola-KD Corporation and Kooperativa Förbundet (KF), has signed a share purchase agreement with Apoteket AB (publ) on the acquisition of 100 per cent of the shares of Pharmacy Company Sweden 2 AB, a national pharmacy cluster with 171 pharmacies. |

Inese Erdmane appointed Managing Director of SIA Oriola in Latvia |
Inese Erdmane, MBA, has been appointed Managing Director of SIA Oriola Riga as of 1st October. Inese will be responsible for the Pharmaceutical Wholesale operations in Latvia and will report to Aare Järvelaid, Director of Baltics Pharmaceutical Wholesale. |

Cecilia Tufvesson Marlow appointed Vice President, Oriola-KD, Retail, Sweden |
Cecilia Tufvesson Marlow M.Sc. (Econ.) (b. 1960) has been appointed Vice President, Retail, Oriola-KD Holding AB, as of 4 August 2008. Cecilia will be responsible for running one of Oriola-KD’s key strategic development areas “Development of pharmacy retail in Sweden”. The main objective is to prepare Oriola-KD to market change due to the deregulation of the pharmacy monopoly in Sweden and to organize operations to be ready to run a pharmacy chain in Sweden in 2009. Cecilia will report to Eero Hautaniemi, President and CEO of Oriola-KD Corporation. |
